How to add, use, and remove CarriersEdge App Zoom integration.

Adding the App

  1. To use the app, your Carrier Admin must grant your carrier access to Zoom meeting functionality with the events feature on our platform, by going to the CarriersEdge settings and enabling the "Connect Zoom" option.

  2. You can directly add the App to your Zoom account from Zoom Marketplace, but you will only be able to use it once you have been granted access by Carrier Admin.

    1. Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.

    2. Search for the "CarriersEdge" app.

    3. Click on Add button.

  3. Once your Carrier Admin has granted you access, you can add the App when you create an event on the CarriersEdge platform by selecting the event type as Virtual Event or Hybrid Event.

  4. After filling in the form with the Event data and clicking save, the CarriersEdge platform will ask you to log in to Zoom and authorize the use of the "CarriersEdge" app.

Using the App with your CarriersEdge’s account

The Event functionality is restricted to users with a manager role or higher.

For Event with Zoom meeting(Virtual Event or Hybrid Event) the facilitator must be the same user as the logged-in user for creation, update and delete actions.

The Zoom meeting is only created for future events. If the event is from a past date, the platform will not create a Zoom meeting in the user's Zoom account.

Add an Event

  1. Log in to the CarriersEdge platform

  2. Go to Programs

  3. Click on Events

  4. Add Event or click on + sign on the calendar

  5. Fill out the Event form

  6. Select Virtual Event or Hybrid Event to create a Zoom meeting associated with the event

  7. Click Save

  8. Follow the log in and authorize the use of the CarriersEdge app (If it is your first time)

  9. Your new event will be created with a Zoom Meeting associated with it

Update an Event

  1. Log in to the CarriersEdge platform

  2. Go to Programs

  3. Click on Events

  4. Click on the event you want to update in the calendar

  5. Change the form data with the desired new information

  6. Click Save

  7. Your event will be updated with the new information on CarriersEdge Platform and on your Zoom account

Delete an Event

  1. Log in to the CarriersEdge platform

  2. Go to Programs

  3. Click on Events

  4. Hover the event you want to delete in the calendar

  5. Click Delete

  6. Confirm your desire to delete the event

  7. Your event will be deleted from the CarriersEdge Platform and from your Zoom account

Removing the App

  1. Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.

  2. Click Manage → Added Apps or search for the "CarriersEdge" app.

  3. Click the "CarriersEdge" app.

  4. Click Remove.
