CarriersEdge and Over The Road Launch Best Fleets to Drive For Seminar Series

MARKHAM, ON - May 5 2009 - CarriersEdge, the leading provider of online driver improvement systems, and Over The Road, Canada's leading recruitment and retention solutions company, today announced dates for the 2009 Best Fleets to Drive For Seminar Series. The series, presenting half day seminars in cities across Canada, will provide tips and tricks from the 20 U.S. and Canadian fleets identified as this year's Best Fleets to Drive For.

Best Fleets to Drive For is an annual survey and contest conducted by the Truckload Carriers Association and CarriersEdge, in partnership with Over the Road. It identifies the North American for-hire trucking companies that provide the best workplace experiences for company drivers and owner-operators.

To be considered, carriers must be nominated by their drivers. Nominated carriers are evaluated on the range and depth of programs being offered, the overall effectiveness of those programs across key metrics, and the responses of surveyed drivers. The twenty fleets with the best overall scores are named Best Fleets to Drive For.

The Best Fleets to Drive For Seminar Series will present information collected during that process, including programs that improve operating efficiency across large and small fleets, trends and emerging issues for both drivers and carriers, and details of the policies and programs that drivers value most.
